The Thomas Hotel

The Thomas Hotel is well located, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Michelle, the bartender at the bar “The Judge”, is delightful. We are repeat customers and will continue to return when in town.

OMG! I can’t say enough! This is a great place, I just checked in for my nephews wedding and the space is clean, smells great , there’s a separate water closet, walk in shower, tons of storage, robes, extra towels, a mini fridge that’s actually cold, a nespresso, dishes, cute little kitchenette, high ceilings & the floors are so clean, everything is CLEAN - if I find myself staying in Tyler again, I will absolutely be staying here! My husband & I are thoroughly impressed! Love love love!

Nice location and property. The suite was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Very comfortable bed! I had to park a couple blocks away, but that was actually less walking than the parking garage at most other places. Several restaurants and a custard shop right around the square. Breakfast was yogurt, granola, biscotti, etc and the coffee was great! I travel the area often, and will be returning!

Great boutique hotel on the Square in Tyler. Eight rooms that I believe are all suites. Very clean and modern. The most comfortable bed of any hotel that I’ve slept in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Centrally located, it is accessible to Tyler attractions. Also nice restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Rooms are clean and have a small living area with kitchen and couch. Beds are comfortable--usually we have difficultly sleeping in hotels but that hasn't been a problem here. Staff is friendly and helpful. You get free access to a full CrossFit gym just a few steps away. Things to be aware of: the walls are thin but they provide you with earplugs and a noise machine. My husband and I have trouble with noise but the ear plugs and noise machine solved any problems. There may not be parking right outside the hotel but we never had trouble finding parking at the city square just steps away. Also, I do agree with one review regarding the night side table and mirror. Room 7 needs a night side table on both sides of the bed and a full length mirror somewhere. Easy fixes. Overall, it is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, good restaurants nearby and coffee shops to work at nearby. We wouldn't come here for a vacation trip but perfect for a work/school trip.

Our group had a business trip to Tyler, and this was a perfect place for us to stay! The design is stunning with so many pretty things to enjoy! The rooms are extra spacious and have all of the special touches. The Nespresso machine is top-notch and changes the whole morning! We felt so safe and even a little bougie! :)

Lovely old hotel. Rooms were modern and very tastefully minimalistic. Clean and sophisticated bathrooms. We booked ahead online. Upon entry, we called the phone number at the desk and they texted us access codes so we could explore Tyler. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying the bar inside the hotel (which is closed on Sundays).

Our stay was terrific at The Thomas Hotel in downtown Tyler. The staff was wonderful! Josselyn, at the front desk, in particular was very accommodating. She was always extremely helpful with a sweet disposition and kind word every time my daughter or I interacted with her. Josselyn went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The hotel itself was beautiful, sparkling clean and well-located (with several great restaurants in the vicinity). Everything was 100% magnificent. The next time we find ourselves in Tyler, we will be sure to stay at this fabulous hotel!
